The fact that this is allowed to air on Australian television is an outrage in itself.

And the fact that the real plight of the people whose suffering we help cause as a nation is kept out of plain sight is another outrage entirely.

What we are shown is curated. What we are not shown is deliberate. And in that gap, accountability disappears.
