The best frozen chicken product Trader Joe's ever made was the Japanese Inspired Chicken Karaage. I gave it a 9/10. Light, crispy breading. Juicy dark meat. A little Kewpie mayo situation on the side. It was better than the orange chicken by a mile and it wasn't even close. And they discontinued it. Meanwhile the orange chicken with its 6/10 energy survives year after year winning Customer Choice awards. Sometimes the best products don't make it and the mediocre ones live forever. That's grocery store Darwinism and I'm still not over it.
