I've found myself masking and code-switching even in my writing so much so that it caused a fragment in my personality where it became hard to know what and what not to share.

Then there's the people-pleasing element of it all-- what if people don't get it? What if they find me abrasive? What if they unfollow and unsubscribe? What if what if what if…

I'm tired of the what-ifs

Truth is, my writing isn't for everybody and it doesn't have to be.
