House rule: always keep the front of the fridge clean. Not meticulously scrubbed without fingerprints or streak marks clean (who has time for that?) but clean as in no tacky souvenirs or pizza delivery magnets. No pictures in plastic frames to get cluttered or jostled whenever the door opens. No prized artwork. No magnetic alphabet or chip clips. No (in)significant papers displayed. Was it really too much to ask?​​​​​​​​
