I’ve said it before, I’ll say it endlessly again: Normalize emphasizing respectful but clear and firm disagreement, not astroturfing conflicts in the dishonest language, “well, we actually agree in the abstract.” No, we don’t.

We disagree, and that’s okay! Lean into it. Stop being so conflict averse. No one should have to lie, or soft-pedal, about substantive differences in their views.
