English can make a verb out of almost anything.

As is well known, you can verb nouns with impunity: to ghost, to google, to uber.

But you can also verb full names, or even entire phrases:

  • “I Marie Kondo’ed my apartment.”

  • “We netflix-and-chilled.”

  • “I control-alt-deleted but it didn’t fix anything”
