I ended up in Corporate because that was the obvious place for me to be - other than the fact that I was temperamentally unsuited to that environment. By the time I had figured that out, I was trapped by commitments and a lack of options.

Today, I would treat a spell in corporate more like an apprenticeship for what path(s) you take afterwards. But if you're trapped, it's a tough place to be.
