Tomorrow, instead of the usual interview, I’ll be sharing a meditation on the suffering and death of Our Lord—featuring the profound insights of St. Thomas Aquinas. It’s Holy Week, and I hope this helps you draw closer to Christ.

If we care about people, we should want to encourage them toward truth and wisdom. Even when no one changes their mind, attempts at persuasion help us understand one another better. Think of it like this: God has given you unique insights and experiences, and if you don’t share them, you may be depriving others around you of what God wants to teach them through you.

Angel in the Waters (amzn.to/3RUhG0c) is a modern* classic, and the best for talking about a new sibling growing. Parents are gonna cry though.

*anything post-dating my childhood is modern.

Are babies “queer”? What does that even mean?

In the first episode of our new podcast, Citation Needed,

and I dissect a peer-reviewed paper recently published in a Springer Nature journal that is more than just bizarre—it’s disturbing.

Derrick Harmon is an interesting and unique prospect, who could fit very well with what the Chiefs need on the DL.

I wrote about him in Part 2 of “know your Chiefs draft crush.”

Bible Gateway passage: Romans 13:6-7 - English Standard Version

For because of this you also pay taxes, for the authorities are ministers of God, attending to this very thing. Pay to all what is owed to them: taxes to whom taxes are owed, revenue to whom revenue is owed, respect to whom respect is owed, honor to whom honor is owed.

Look how happy or reassured men look when they are touching. In amateur shots they are equally at ease and warm when looking at a photographer that they like or love. And, look at the boy on the right in the last image, gazing at the buttocks of the main subject. Nice music, incidently.

Glad you enjoyed, Ray…the photos and the music. That last photo always makes me smile. If memory serves, the model was Mr. Teen USA (or something) on tour of a UK boy’s school in the 1960s. I wish I had someone like him to visit my school back when I was a lad. :-)
