Well Clint, handsome is as handsome does, or something like that. Thanks, Doug. The winds remained calm overnight, so I think the firefighters might have made some progress. Only watching the evacuation maps today…just in case. Sadly, there’s rain forecast for the weekend, which could quickly lead to floods and mudslides in the burn areas. Fingers crossed there are no lightning strikes—rare here—and Mother Nature chills it with a skillet. Never thought about the bogs/moors burning. Yikes. Hope Mother Nature is treating you better too.
