I had to write two stories for C-Ville Weekly today unexpectedly (only thought I had to turn in one) so there’s no newsletter but I’m using the afternoon sun to get an entire week ready.

But I did write a blurb to open what would have been today and I share here:

Michigan joined the United States as the 26th entry on the 26th day of January back in 1837. On the same day in 1861, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/L… seceded to join the Confederate States of America.  Nine years later, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/V… was readmitted to the Union. Charlottesville Community Engagement now returns to the present with several stories about recent events. I’m Sean Tubbs and it’s time to write.
