Rewatching The Towering Inferno (1974) that’s now free on Prime.

I think I watched it in the 80s as a kid. It’s really good. Gritty realism and understated 1970s competent man type characters. Much more protocolish than I recall.

Planning to watch the Poseidon adventure and others from that wave of disaster thrillers. Been waiting for a chance to binge these.
