It’s already been 6 years since my Berggruen Institute fellowship wrapped, just a few months after Covid hit. Sabbatical year to work on book kinda got derailed halfway through.

Book has been on slow simmer since then. I think I need another sabbatical type fellowship thing to make another burst of serious progress on it. In case anyone is handing them out in 2027.

I don’t know how the fellowship circuit pros do it, jumping from one fellowship to another like it’s a sports league scene. I only landed that one because Nils Gilman was in a random mood to stir things up.

I bet there is a fellowship of fellowship fellows secret society I never got invited to.
