I’ve long admired the Long Now Foundation for its imaginative mission, and am pretty pleased that the first new initiative from the just-launched Protocol Institute (was: Summer of Protocols) is a collaboration with LN.
Th Protocols for the Long Now program has 3 opportunities in this announcement, as part of the new Long Now Labs program led by Denise Hearn, 2 of which you can apply for right now (deadline June 5). If you’d like to keep up, make sure to subscribe to Protocolized.
This is going to be our model going forward at the Protocol Institute — collaborative programming with other institutions that have complementary capabilities to ours. If you are involved with any and want to chat about a partnership or collaboration, reach out to me or Timber Stinson-Schroff.
