Make money doing the work you believe in

I had exactly this thought today. Watching some of my projects get done showed me how ridiculous it was that I wanted them done before AI and thought I could do them if I just cleared the decks and put my mind to it for a bit and that “I just have to set up my dev environment.” Underestimating the manual-equivalent effort by like 100x.

This has made me radically recalibrate all the projects I’m not doing in domains where agentic capabilities are not yet available, and I’m systematically either giving up on them or logging them in a whole new kind of GTD list. Instead of “Someday/Maybe” it’s “When Agentic Capabilities Get There”. My WACGT list. Big relief.
