BNPL companies like Klarna and Afterpay still refuses to share payment data with credit bureaus, citing concerns customers could be penalized from accessing credits.

It’s exhausting to track anything funded by private credit to BNPL- besides what’s being made public. We suspect the charge offs are higher than Affirm and others claim.

This level of opaqueness is dangerous for all the investors involved.
