sometimes i wonder how many versions of myself i’ve outgrown without even noticing. i look back at old photos and remember the thoughts i used to carry, the dreams i thought would save me. it’s strange how you can live inside yourself every day and still not realize you’re evolving. it’s only when you look back that you realize how far you’ve come, how many lives you’ve already lived in the same skin.
Born, raised and awarded all the academic & leadership awards those many decades ago in SF prior to moving on. I’ve been disgusted with what’s happened to what was once a beautiful, affordable, and safe city. SF has become a total, disgraceful mess, and that did not happen over night. For decades, there has been a steady stream of politicians who have been ignorant dreamers, letting the city become destroyed in a practical sense. It’s a total, filthy mess now, and police have had their hands effectively tied. So, the current population finally got rid of one destructive influence. Good. Now try some more when elections roll around. And, yeah, while at it, Newsom is a complete Ass, and I fail to see how so many people in CA can’t see the destruction he has been causing.
