Why I'm writing InsightsDriven
If you've subscribed to this newsletter at any point over the last few years, you might have noticed that something is shifting.
I started writing here in 2020, mostly for product leaders. Over time, the audience has grown beyond that - and so have I. I've moved from leading products to exiting a business and now running a FinTech company, and the questions I'm interested in have moved with me.
What started as a newsletter about mastering metrics has slowly become something broader, and something I think matters more: a place to think more clearly about data, commercial strategy, and what it actually takes to build products that matter. So this feels like the right moment for a reintroduction.
Who’s behind InsightsDriven
I'm Corinna Stukan - FinTech CEO and author of The Insights Driven Product Manager. I spent the last 17+ years building technology products at eBay, CBA x15 Ventures, ASB, and most recently as CEO of Bizzy, a FinTech startup reshaping how small businesses access finance.
The more time I spend in business, the more I'm convinced that most technology organisations today are data-rich and insight-poor. More dashboards than ever, and yet the decisions that actually matter for the business and the customer still get made on gut.
My goal is to close this gap. InsightsDriven is written product and technology leaders who want to think more clearly about data, commercial strategy and building things that matter.
