Make money doing the work you believe in

Mail-in ballots were apparently a national emergency.

But guns in the mail? Well, that’s different.

Donald Trump Jr. owns more than 300,000 shares in GrabAGun, an online gun retailer that’s been described as the “Amazon of guns.”

The company’s whole model depends on making it easier to buy firearms online and get them into customers’ hands.

And now, wouldn’t you know it, the Trump administration is proposing new rules that would make it easier for gun dealers to ship firearms directly to people’s homes.

What a coincidence.

This is what Trump corruption looks like in its purest form: public policy bent around private profit, with public safety treated as an afterthought.

The same movement that spent years screaming that mail-in ballots were too dangerous to trust is now apparently fine with making it easier to put guns in the mailbox.

And this isn’t happening in a vacuum. The Trump administration is rolling back dozens of gun regulations, weakening oversight of dealers, reversing crackdowns on illegal sales, loosening rules around private transactions, and restoring gun rights to some people who had previously faced restrictions.

All while the country continues to live with the consequences of gun violence every single day.

This isn’t about freedom or safety or even the Second Amendment.

It’s about power, profit, and a family that sees the federal government as a business opportunity.

Corruption in the Trump administration is not exactly breaking news.

But rolling back basic gun safety rules in a way that could help line his family’s pockets?

That’s gross, even for them.
