It is a truth not universally acknowledged that sometimes, when you are out on book tour, you get word from one of the bookstores you are visiting that only a handful of people have signed up for your event. (Which I think is code for like two people?)

I’ll be in conversation with the ultra charming writer Evan Porter, author of "Dad Camp" and "A Last Time for Everything." (Dad Camp is set to become a film with Adam Sandler!)
