Like the Wakandans, we’re prone to hiding in our protected bubbles, creating utopias where we think evil can be kept out. But everyone suffers when we do this, because the darkness finds a way in—and protection was only an illusion anyway. Schools are better when Christians are there. Teachers are supported when people with privilege and discretionary time opt in rather than pull out. High-need students are exposed to families with opportunity and privileged students.
