Writing a fairy tale demands a different kind of commitment, or maybe discipline from me since long form writing is my preference. A style that permits me long descriptions and time to develop the pulse of the story. Because of the format choice I made for this fairy tale, paragraphs constrained me in its necessity that I move the action forward, while also supplying background for structure and to evolve the characters.
