Happy May the 4th!

Ok, ok, so Star Wars isn’t exactly romantasy, but I would argue that it is space fantasy so it’s at least adjacent…

TL:DR I made space macarons that taste like space.

Long version: I was feeling vindicated when I saw that Williams Sonoma also thought that baby yoda (Grogu) was eating space macarons in the Mandalorian when it first came because my husband did not believe me when I said the same. In fact he scoffed. But then I was disappointed to see that the the WS macarons were vanilla. Surely space macarons have a more exotic flavor! My husband chimed in that they would obviously taste like space. I thought I remembered randomly reading that the center of the Milky Way tastes fruity... so I looked it up and it in fact tastes like raspberry and rum. Challenge accepted. Presenting proper space macarons- blue raspberry shell with a rum chocolate swiss buttercream filling. I can honestly say I would force steal these too- they are amazing.

Followed by the simpler, but no less elegant, Blue Butterly Pea Blue Milk with Match Pocky Lightsabers.
