Make money doing the work you believe in

I have written this text because I suspect that the debate on euthanasia has become too narrow. It is presented as freedom or ideology, but underneath a more uncomfortable question beats: what kind of society are we when fragility is left without support? When illness, dependence, and grief become desocialized, death begins to seem like an exit where care should have appeared before.

In the article, I distinguish (without technicalities) between accompanying an irreversible end and turning death into a medical response; I talk about “administered solitude,” still unequal palliative care, and why autonomy without alternatives can turn into organized despair. If that compass interests you —Diego Gracia, common minimums, and a culture that does not abandon— I leave you the full text.
