Bad art begs for attention, then calls your disgust “dialogue.”
Venice is one of Europe’s most fragile treasures. It has churches, palaces, mosaics, bridges, courtyards, canals, and centuries of human genius fighting against time, water, tourism, and neglect.
And the grand modern artistic response is a naked performer ringing a giant bell. It comes with the usual words… climate crisis, dystopia, vulnerability, deeper layers, provocation.
But strip away the curator language and the stunt is a perversion.
