Liam Ramos is in ICE custody with his dad and his health is deteriorating.

Joaquin Castro says Liam is deeply depressed, lethargic, sleeping excessively and barely eating, repeatedly asking about his mom, his classmates and when he can go home. He’s withdrawn and not the bright preschooler he was just days earlier.

He’s also experiencing stomach pain, vomiting, fever and a complete loss of appetite, made worse by poor-quality food in detention. Attorneys who have visited the facility say the children inside are mentally broken.
