ChatControl in Europe is back, or it never really left. It's a mass surveillance law sold as a moral action: protect children, make the Internet safer.
But once platforms can be pushed to inspect messages, images, videos, metadata, accounts and behavioral patternsā¦your whole life becomes a permanent inspection zone.
If you think this doesn't impact you because you're not in the EU - think again: if you have ANY kind of digital communication or relationship with EU citizens your chats with them will be scanned as well.
