Something worth knowing about this week.

Anthropic just announced Project Glasswing, a collaboration with Apple, Microsoft, Google, Palo Alto Networks and others to secure the world's most critical software using AI.

Their model, Claude Mythos Preview, has already found thousands of high-severity vulnerabilities in major operating systems and browsers. Including a bug that had been hiding for 27 years.

They named it after a transparent butterfly. Because software vulnerabilities are relatively invisible, until someone knows exactly where to look.

I've spent 22 years in digital forensics. The software securing your children's online world is only as safe as the people looking after it. Projects like this are why that picture might, finally, be starting to improve.
