One thing you can do today: set up Nintendo Switch Parental Controls.

The free Nintendo Switch Parental Controls app (iOS and Android) lets you set playtime limits, receive activity reports, restrict online features and communication, and filter content by age rating.

Download the app, create a Nintendo Account if you don't have one, and pair it with the console using the on-screen code.
