Unpopular opinion:
You should attempt CISSP before you have 5 years of experience.
Here's why.
CISSP Associate means you passed the hardest exam in the field before you needed to.
When a hiring manager sees that on a junior resume they don't think "too soon."
They think "this person is serious."
It won't replace experience. But it opens doors nothing else will.
