I wasn't going to touch this one because it is such low handing fruit, but it is just too attractive -- THE REFLECTING POOL!

Just like he did with our federal government, the guy promised to clean things up only to create an actual swamp. Trump bitched about former presidents not cleaning the reflecting pool, then issued a no bid contract to a company he has worked with and spent $14 million of our tax dollars to try to convert the Reflecting Pool into an "American Flag Blue" color. Almost immediately algae took over. He then tried to blame Obama for the algae and some of his supporters suggested lefties had sabotaged the pool.

OK, so now the sun and photosynthesizing plants are Antifa?

Given the unprecedented level of corruption, self-dealing, insider-trading, and attempts to rig elections and block people from voting, it seems 100% fitting that the pool that reflects the surrounding environment and people looking into it, is a SWAMP.

The reflecting pool likely isn't going to be in a red white and blue theme for the Fourth of July, but it'll perfect for the next St. Patrick's Day, or as a nice guacamole color for Cinco De Mayo.

In an attempt to make something valuable out of yet another Trump folly, I will note that Blue Green Algae is a serious, dangerous, sometimes deadly organism, especially for dogs. It's getting an early start in many parts of the country because of the unusually warm winter and spring. It grows in warm, stagnant water (usually lakes, ponds, reservoirs).
