Bibliophiles, what would you do?
I’ve read 65 pages of a novel for book group. I am not into it at all.
I have this stack of books I want to read, and a growing sense of urgency - how will I read everything I want?
What would you do? Ditch the book and skip the book group meeting? Forge on and keep going?
Usually I give a book 100 pages. In the past I have forged on and have gotten something from the experience. This, however, feels like a slog.
(With ever-expanding gratitude to the Denver Public Library for being my supplier. I did just buy another novel today, so I do buy books as well.)
