What a lovely invitation, dear Kingsley! I heartily agree with you that in our daily hustle and bustle, we can so often forget what matters most. I had a reminder this morning when adding some chocolate to my coffee--I felt my hand holding the utensil lightly "bop!" it down, so it delivered a tiny offering of chocolate sauce to the back of my left hand. At this gentle, playful touch, I felt the unmistakable presence of my grandmother, thinking to me, "A chocolate kiss!" I softened a bit... rushing just a bit less... remembering something I'd just about totally forgotten. My grandmother used to playfully offer me a chocolate kiss--a kind of Hershey's kiss chocolate candy, from to time. Though my grandmother's in spirit now, she clearly is very much with me today, too. Let's connect with our most beloved spirits, and remember that dead doesn't necessarily mean gone, either.
