It’s like stepping outside after being locked in a room with no ventilation for years. Just air. A fresh, clean, unpolluted breeze that smells like possibility.
No algorithms squeezing my voice into some tiny little box. No MAGA trolls popping up every five minutes to call me an ape, a monkey, the n-word, the b-word, or the c-word, or threatening to r*pe or blow my brains out.

This Supreme Court is one of the most political in history. Especially Thomas and Scalia. ACB seems to have grown a conscience to some extent and even Kavanaugh has disappointed MAGA somewhat. But this guy… Thomas.. yeah he’s as corrupt as they come. He doesn’t even try to hide it.

Can the we please find a dozen Dems to start challenging ‘republican’ voter registrations, especially in purple states like Georgia? The good guys need to play the same game. It may swing some elections. Fight fire...
When I was a kid, my parents made it clear that claiming that I should be doing what "everybody" else was doing was not an argument I was going to win. If Dems claim to have certain values, doing illegal or immoral things because the Republican'ts are doing them is not a tenable justification. We need to work harder at registering voters, at rebutting challenges at the polls (the ACLU, if I'm remembering correctly, will help with that), and at living our values.
The most effective youth organization at registering voters according to Forbes Magazine (no liberal bastion) is terrifically effective Harvard students at turnup.us so please-- please--click on that link, see what they are doing, and make a generous contribution! Our democracy depends on youth mobilization on reproductive rights against the real, very real, threat that a nationwide ban would quickly become law in January 25! So please help them make sure it doesn’t happen and your contribution…

Oh Ira; apologies are 'not' necessary to me, nor others on this community of good intent and conscience. I wholeheartedly support your repeating that particular link and advocating it, especially as I feel and hope that HCR agrees that the missions of this community revolve around 'education' of facts in evidence, and wholesome-for-our-nation - conclusions derived to defend our democracy from an educated position of truth and facts in evidence. Now, all that said I say post away to your hearts content unless HCR advise otherwise Ira. *Or perhaps, those that agree with my previous statement of encouragement, all consider asking our Dr. Dynamo to post a link + brief explainer to this non-partisan vote encouragement initiative at or alongside the header or body of her letters - LTAA, thereby perhaps saving Ira (you) the effort of re-posting.
