Week 2-Structuring Assets and Defining Evaluation Metrics
This week focused on strengthening the structural backbone of our repository.
I organized the Assets directory to clearly separate documentation visuals (screenshots, AI-generated concept renders) from future runtime media. Establishing this distinction early ensures scalability when we transition into Unity-based VR development.
Beyond asset organization, I worked on the Evaluation framework. Rather than simply stating that the system “works,” we defined measurable criteria to assess:
Technical performance
Learning effectiveness
Usability and interaction clarity
Key evaluation metrics include transformation prediction accuracy, reduction in trial-and-error errors, and response time improvements. We also outlined a future comparative study between traditional 2D instruction and our interactive 3D environment.
By formalizing evaluation early, we ensure the project is outcome-driven rather than feature-driven. Our goal is not just to build an immersive tool — it is to validate its educational impact.
