At the Phoenix airport just now: A gentlemen whose flight had been rescheduled for tomorrow asked for help so that he could pay for a hotel room. (Apparently, Southwest Airlines didn’t offer him this compensation.) At least 15 people immediately got up from their seats and gave him cash. In less than two minutes, he had well more than he had asked for. It was a touching display of human compassion.
