Since the murder of Renee Good, I have struggled to put into words my horror. I finally realized that I was reacting not only to her murder but to the words spoken by the officer after shooting her. “Fucking bitch” is something all women have experienced, but perhaps we have not always followed it through to its logical violent conclusion. Tonight, I try to share my thoughts on the topic.
