I’ve been thinking and writing about “hypographic media” (thanks Venkatesh Rao for sharing the post!), inspired by a form of writing (hypography) now used by many across the globe: those who type in Chinese (see afra’s great “On Typing Chinese” and other writing!), but also those who prompt LLMs on their way to producing something.

These media might expose the decisions and thinking that led to their creation—when should they exist? I give a few thoughts here / would love to hear from anyone thinking about similar things!
