The genius of Brunelleschi was Persian engineering. It was noticed and proven by Piero Sanpaolesi in 1971 and scholars simply turned their back on his discovery. Now a new generation of scholars has taken up his research, and the connections are irrefutable. My guest host Massoud Katebeh and I decided to share this episode earlier than planned because of the horrific threat made against the Iranian people and culture. I pray we’ll soon be done with the cult of the singular genius and instead look across this beautiful world and appreciate how we are all connected.
