I've studied this in marketing Daniel, yet we still don't have to bite, provided that we have critical thinking capacity.
It is like hypnosis. When I was in HS i was among the 20 or so that volunteered to be hypnotized, only he, the hypnotist, couldn't. I tried later in my 50's and still no go. I can't be hypnotized, in the same vein I see right through any attempt to propagandize me be it commercial or political.
