First of all, I apologize. It’s been a couple of weeks, and I’ve been wrestling with this topic. I put the “Eyes Have Not Seen” series on pause for a bit so that we could have this conversation. Sparked by recent moves by the NAACP and Congressional Black Caucus, I really wanted to examine what we’re doing to support future generations. This is the first installment in a multi-part series taking a look at ways we’ve changed, what it’s costing us, and how we can fix it.
