Last night I added all my Substack post links into NotebookLM + a PDF with all the comments I’ve received (since NotebookLM can’t process or open the “x more comments” button to see them all).
→ If you want to better understand your content, spot patterns, or get to know your readers more deeply, try this.
It took just 10–15 minutes, and the insights I got were so worth it.
Some of the questions I asked to dig for insights:
What are some recurring themes in the comments? Are there any specific issues mentioned by my readers that I have overlooked and could approach in some future posts?
What specific topics spark the most engagement or emotion (curiosity, gratitude, pushback)?
Are they asking clarifying questions? And what are some clarifying questions that came up?
Which posts consistently get more comments, and what do they have in common (format, topic, tone, length, vulnerability)?
Are there repeated requests or themes my readers want me to cover? Do they point out confusion or friction I should smooth out?
