Based on the academy’s work in Eastern European countries since 2016, I can say that the right candidate almost never matches the safe candidate.
High-performing people always have character, backbone, and a point of view — they are uncomfortable and therefore not “safe.” But not safe for whom? Primarily for many people within the same business structure — those who are less agile, less creative, less courageous, and less results-driven.
