As a Data Engineer, building 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗽𝗶𝗽𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 is usually at the core of what you do. You can build data pipelines with any combination of tools but there are 𝟰 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 that fundamentally make up every data pipeline.
➡️ 1. Data source(s): This is where the data is coming from. Usually a database or API.
➡️ 2. Business logic: This is the logic used to transform the data based on the business needs.
➡️ 3. Data destination(s): Where you actually store your transformed data. Typically a data warehouse or data lake.
➡️ 4. Scheduler/Workflow orchestration: How you'll run your data pipeline on a schedule or in response to events.
