Probably in due course. I really appreciate the offer. I prefer to do actual *debate* in writing, for many reasons (I just think it's infinitely better), but sola Scriptura is what my late friend Al Kresta would call a "large and lumpy" topic. It would be very difficult to discuss it in any constructive or helpful way, in my opinion, unless a narrow sub-topic was proposed. I've written four books about it, as I noted in our recent dialogue.

So I'll think about that, and we can "negotiate." That said, it would be fun to chat about something or perhaps many things, if we both enjoy it and think it is helpful for viewers. We could and would agree on lots of stuff, too. I'm as ecumenical as I am "apologetical."

It seems to me that here, simple answers ought to be entirely possible, if you claim to -- at least broadly -- know what the apostles taught as a class. I could quickly answer most of these (and defend my answers at length). Here are ten quick examples:

2. Baptism [trinitarian formula baptismal regeneration]

3. The Eucharist [real presence, fairly quickly anticipating transubstantiation or the transformational view -- as even Schaff conceded --, though in less philosophically developed terms]

4. Church Government [episcopacy with local and ecumenical councils, with a pope, as chief bishop]

5. Regeneration [through baptism, at least primarily]

6. Sanctification [organically connected to and inseparable from justification: see McGrath's history]

7. The Place of Tradition ["three-legged stool" rule of faith: Bible-Church-Tradition, taking strongly into account, the witness of apostolic succession]

8. Women Clergy [strictly against]

9. Divorce [strictly against]

10. Feminism [against, although many fathers made questionable statements about women, so that they had a "mixed record" on gender issues]

11. Abortion [strictly against, as murder]

You mention "apostle[s]' 53 times in this article. Certainly you must have opinions as to what they taught on various theological and moral issues, just as I do.

Thanks for your comment, Dave. It would take a long time for me to answer each of these in a post. How about this--I've appreciated the time you take to engage these issues, and I think it would be worthwhile to just come on my channel and dialogue. What do you think?
