I’m off brand today, but I’m relishing in good vibes.

The boy had an epic day yesterday; totally reasonable for him to take all the flowers he deserves, but this might be the best moment the day for me.

Aidan is a 4-time gold medal winner from this event, but instead of celebrating his performance, he took a moment to celebrate a teammate, who was so overcome with emotion from his first ever state qualifying performance, that he kneeled to pray.

The level of compassion and emotional intelligence the boy has as 15-year-old makes me proud. Gold medals are great, but the love and respect he has for his teammates and friends is a much greater reward.
