I just heard a quote by Billy Corrigan of Smashing Pumpkins that you need to read. It’s about making art and how (or when) it’s received by the audience.

“It’s not up to us to assess value. You have to trust your artistic voice enough to believe that when you put the work out into the world, it will find its place.”

In other words, make the work, share it, and if it resonates, the right people will find it. Until they do, keep making.
