Last month, Gamma announced that it had raised $68 million at a $2.1 billion valuation. People started asking me how we were able to invest so early in the seed round, so I wrote a Substack essay about it.

Angel investing is a mystery to most people. It's definitely more of an art than a science, but I wanted to demystify the experience. First and foremost, angel investing is not for the faint of heart (or bank account). That being said, it is a fallacy that you have to be wealthy to angel invest (you can create a syndicate).
