While I scream to the heavens regularly how much AMAZING new music is coming out (and it is, and so much of it is ridiculously high quality, since everyone has access to education and tools now!), Ted’s right that the music BUSINESS is killing young artists.

Don’t be a passive consumer. Make choices. Support great art.

But if record labels and streaming platform won’t support new artists and new music, who will? The only answer to that is us. The fans are the last line of defense. Music lovers are the only thing preventing a total collapse of the new music ecosystem.
