Sounds to me like Pat is the pot calling the kettle black. There is a right-wing Catholicism that is hiding behind a defunct liturgy, from the Latin Mass to kneeling at the altar for communion, to mask how they have sold their Catholic integrity to Trump and the MAGA movement. They continue to insist that people like him are somehow more Catholic than people like me. They are the members who have insisted on the politicization of the Church. To claim that it was the so called “grey Catholics” who, OMG, supported Obama! that politicized the Church is a huge lie.
