Question for my followers: I am flirting with the idea of posting stories about some of my vintage guitars. I own A LOT of old guitars (I don’t actually count them) and many of them have interesting stories.
For example, I bought the guitar on the left, a 1957 Gibson Les Paul Junior, from Mike Ness of Social Distortion when he was selling gear to buy guitars for his son, Julian. The middle guitar, a 1958 Gibson Les Paul Junior, was owned by Glen Quan and he used it to invent and test the “Leo Quan Badass Bridge”, which was used by Keith Richards and Mick Jones on their ‘58 Juniors. The 1963 Gibson Les Paul Junior was purchased locally from a local player who left it under his bed for decades.
Would anybody like to read more about the joy of owning an old guitar? If so, please let me know in the comments. Thank you!
